About

Tattooed woman practicing yoga outdoors on a rooftop with the U.S. Capitol in the background.

Born in the Midlands; raised in the North West.

Krissi’s early background began by jumping from home to home; finding roots at an early age. Raised by her mother and then later her step dad between the age of 8-15.

Krissi was always known for sitting in meditation and reading books as a young child and she believes these early adaptatives have helped her throughout her life and into her offerings.

Krissi lived a very peaceful life, rarely got into any trouble until her teenage years after her mother’s divorce.

Not understanding the deeper affects of the family breakdown until later on, it wasn’t this reason; at the time as to what pulled her into the yoga shala.

Laying in bed one messy morning surrounded by doritos and chocolate, she rolled out of bed and as if by magic, she had found a local yoga studio via a google search. Deeply unsatified with her quality of living, she followed a voice that told her “yoga”.

That voice led her to her first yoga class. Aged 18.

At the age of 19 she moved out of her family home and moved to London. Something she had only ever dreamed of with friends.

The troubles of living a 9-5 in London were heavy. Still continuing her yoga practice - just once every 2 weeks due to her low income, and youtube at home - she had found something that gave her something to look forward too.

After work, she would come home and create her yoga flows and started to enjoy the inner journey. Taking her off days to connect with teachers and classes all over London, it wasn’t long before she was fired from her 9-5 and a new life purpose started to take shape.

The loss of her Nephew along with lack of support from the social secure team and the justice system whilst fighting legal battles; was the first example of her lack of trust within western intervention and the people of power.

It wasn’t until she then found out she was also facing legal battles at work which really triggered a spark.

During her times of hardship Krissi struggled with addiction, suicide attempts and drug induced pychosis. Turning to her GP for medical intervention left her feeling more lost than when she walked in. Anti-depressants and a therapy waiting list of 9 months. The second time she felt as if she had been failed.

With a wake up call, Krissi knew she had some power within her left and turned to her yoga mat. At the time it was the only thing that made sense to do.

With the studying of yoga for PTSD, anxiety, sanskrit, anatomy and yoga for rehibilitation with the prison pheonix trust and the samaritans, she transformed what was helping her; to others.

Over the last 8 years Krissi has been teaching in studios, gyms, prisons, secured premises, schools and offices, workshops, teacher trainings and now primarily connects to her following through retreats each year and online classes.

Krissi’s first trip to India was in 2022, not initally for yoga - but to experience this country everybody had been talking about; (yet she knew very little who had actually been)

Krissi’s knowledge of Ayurveda was already there to a certain degree with the thanks to her amazing teachers at YogaLondon in which she completed her 200hrs Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher Training back in 2019.

But her first real introduction of Ayurveda was through a friends cookbook who was suffering from fibromyalgia and was using Ayurveda to help some of her symptoms.

This book taught Krissi the basics in regards to Ayurvedic nutrition and the dosha systems and she really enjoyed spending her boat days cooking at home and sharing what she had learnt.

It was during her second trip to India when she met her first Ayurvedic doctor. A real doctor who wasn’t afraid to tell her the truth the hard truth. Changes were made as per her doctors recommendations and Krissi then later recieved her first panchakarma with The School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma in Kannur, North Kerala which she describes as “it felt like 30 years of trauma has just been flushed out of my body” she now say; “I believe that the missing key to health and longeivity alongside yoga has been unlocked. Having this knowledge as early as possible and to everyone is cruicial for evolution of mind, body and spirit”

Within the last 3 years Krissi began studying Ayurveda and Panchakarma and has recieved her Diploma issued from the Kannur Sted Council with Ayurvedic School of Panchakarma in Kerala, India.

Some go to say that Panchakarma has the ability to redirect the dharmic path.

Krissi now splits her time between Asia and Europe and is open for any collabroations.

Krissi offers Ayurvedic consultations ar 2hrs long for anybody that is seeking answers.

Her own personal asana practice is rooted in Ashtanga and is currently training Nadi Shodhana or Intermediate Series under the guidance of Hamish Henryji of Ashtanga Yoga London.‍ ‍

She gives the deepest respects to her doctor in India, Dr Sapnaji.

“Thank you for your support and capacity to give, to transmit and share this huge love for a practice and a philosophy I’ve already felt in my heart. I want to explore and feel more and more. It's giving me strength and belief, in my self and power though my body and in my spirit. So I’ll never finish to thank you for accompanying me in this path.”
