PLEASE COME WITH AN OPEN MIND This retreat is centred around Yoga Philosophy and Traditional Ayurvedic medicine . Discrimination of any sort during your time with us will not be tolerated and will result in a forefit from the retreat.
Prior to the day of arrival each participant will recieve a full ayurvedic consultation to distinguish your nature and aggrevance (Prakriti and Vrikriti) with this information you can use it to your advantage and enjoy local ayurvedic treatments in the neraby clinics.
The Yoga classes and workshops will have topics and conversations that may be controversial such as (God "consciousness") We ask all participants to come with an open mind and be respectful of other participants beliefs, cultural backgrounds and opinions. This is a space where we can all come together freely without fear of judgement.
What you need to know
Dietary requirements:
All dietary needs are catered for. The venue serves and caters for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. If you have any other dietary needs then please do let me know so that I can ensure this is catered for.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:
In accordance with your flight times you will be picked up from the airport and dropped off at the venue. Please look out for our drivers with your name when you arrive. Please ensure you use the whatsapp group to communicate effectively your train arrival times.

PLEASE NOTE: We only offer airport pick up to and from Chennai.
Communication:
Once all sign ups are complete a WhatsApp group will be created for us all to get to know each other and communicate during the trip.
We will use this to ensure smooth arrival of everyone as well as sharing pics and our time together.
Once everyone is added to the whatsapp group we will keep on top of your flight/ train arrivals and use the chat to potentially buddy you up with other guests for more convenient transfers.
When securing your sign up I will be in touch to ensure your desired bed is available, Once confirmed I will instruct you to proceed with payment options.
The Venue: Sangam House
We are extremely lucky to have found the perfect space which offers the balance of ashram and retreat life, this means that this retreat is perfect for you if you are interested in sacred knowledge and wisdom, but it’s your first time visiting a space of such high levels of spiritual worship.
We do have the luxury of a pool and the place to ourselves during our stay, which means if India gets a little too crazy then you can always come back and retreat in your safe space.
A word from the Venue…
There are many ashrams, temples, and tombs of great saints within the ambit of Arunachala. Seekers, practitioners, and devotees from various traditions come to partake in the rarefied vibrational atmosphere, which is especially tangible at the Samadhi of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. The entire hill seems to emanate a profound sense of deep stillness and Silence that cannot be described, only experienced. It has long been a perfect retreat for ardent seekers to immerse themselves in deep meditation and contemplation.

Terms & Conditions:
£150 non refundable deposit secures your spot.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel your attendance at the retreat, notice of cancellation must be provided in writing. The deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel before 15th April 2026, you will be refunded the full amount paid up to that date (excluding the deposit).
Cancellations made after 15th April 2026 are non-refundable and will result in forfeiture of any and all sums paid.
In extreme or unforeseen circumstances, changes or cancellations outside these terms may be permitted at the organiser’s discretion on a case-by-case basis.
Due to advance commitments for accommodation and other arrangements, exceptions to this cancellation policy cannot be made.
Spot Exchange Policy:
Any transfer or exchange of your retreat spot to another participant can only occur after prior consultation and approval by the organiser to ensure quality and consistency of the retreat experience.
Retreat Cancellation by Organiser:
In the rare event of force majeure (e.g., travel restrictions, pandemics) preventing the retreat from taking place, all non-refundable deposits will be converted into store credit valid for the next available retreat. No cash refunds will be issued.
Additonal terms and conditions
Transfers to the Venue:
We will organise group transfers from the nearest airport (Chennai) at set times on arrival day only. You may need to wait a short period so we can group people together. If you prefer to make your own way to the venue, you are welcome to do so at your own cost.
Travel Insurance:
Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal accident, and loss or theft of belongings. The organiser accepts no liability for losses or expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances.
Health and Safety:
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements prior to the retreat. By participating, you confirm you are physically and mentally fit for all retreat activities. The organiser reserves the right to restrict participation in activities for safety reasons.
Behaviour and Conduct:
Participants agree to respect retreat staff, fellow participants, and venue property. Any behaviour disrupting the retreat or compromising safety may result in immediate removal without refund. The organiser has sole discretion over such decisions.
Respect for Spaces & Property
Please treat your room and all shared spaces respectfully. If any room, equipment or communal area is damaged, you will be responsible for covering the cost of repairs or replacement.
Liability and Responsibility:
By participating in this retreat, participants accept full responsibility for their own health, safety, and wellbeing during all retreat activities. They release the organiser from any liability for injuries, accidents, or health issues that may arise, except in cases of proven negligence.
Media Consent:
Participants consent to being photographed and filmed during the retreat for promotional and marketing purposes. If a participant does not wish to appear in photos or videos, they must notify the organiser in writing prior to or at the start of the retreat.
Data Privacy:
Personal data collected is used solely for retreat management and communication, stored securely, and handled in compliance with data protection laws. Information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent unless required by law.
